The Mercer Island Police Department (Washington) has acquired our Field Training Officer (FTO) software to replace a manual, paper-based field training process. The software will enable the department to utilize digital documents (DOR’s, Check Lists, Weekly Evaluations) to monitor recruit progress and the documents will be accessible from anywhere via their network. The software’s built-in gap analysis tools and digital signatures will ensure that all tasks are completed as recruits progress through the field training program.
Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office
Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office (Louisiana) has acquired CPT Academy on a hosted subscription basis to replace their paper based testing and assessment processes. This decision was the result of a recommendation from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office which began using the software in 2013.
Cecil County Sheriff’s Office
The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office (Maryland) recently established a new law enforcement academy and needed software to administer its training curriculum, assessment items, and testing processes. Our CPT Academy software was selected because of Crown Pointe Technology’s long history serving the Maryland Police & Correctional Training Commission and many other states, county and municipal public safety academies in Maryland with our Academy software. CPT Academy will enable the Cecil County Academy to conduct online testing of students, automate scoring and posting of test results to the student records, and ensure students master important concepts taught during the entry level academy sessions prior to entering law enforcement service.
Montana Public Safety Officer Training
The Montana Public Safety Officer Training & Standard Council (POST) has selected our Skills Manager software to manage the training and certification records for thousands of certified public safety personnel employed by hundreds of local agencies in that state. Skills Manager replaces a legacy Access database formerly built in-house for this purpose. Skills Manager will significantly improve the council’s reporting and compliance tracking capabilities.
